In order to make the flowers flourish, the light must be adjusted in time according to the requirements of the flowers throughout the year.

1. Reasonably arrange the placement of potted flowers
During the growing season, the various flowers and trees that you raise can be placed in an outdoor ventilated place in layers. Place tall flowers and trees that love the sunlight, such as cycads, oleanders, figs, pomegranates, etc., in the sun; In front of these flowers and trees, put some shorter flowers and trees that love sunlight, such as potted roses, Milan, etc. Then place shade-loving flowers, such as rhododendrons, camellia, etc., behind the tall flowers and trees.

2. Shade
In summer, the shade-loving flowers should be moved to the awning or under the shade of large trees in time to prevent direct sunlight. Clivia, camellia, rhododendrons, cyclamen, orchids, begonias and other flowers that are afraid of intense heat should be shaded in summer or placed in a place with sufficient indoor light. In spring and autumn, put it in an outdoor shade for maintenance, and in winter, put it in a sunny place indoors for overwintering.

3. Adjust the light period
That is to adjust the length of time of light, mainly using two methods of adding light and shading. Pay attention to adjusting the distance between the lamp tube and the flower and the time of illumination when artificial light is added. Avoid too close the distance between the lamp and the flower and the temperature is too high, which may damage the flower. The growth of flowers not only requires a certain period of light, but also requires the alternation of night and day. Therefore, if the light time is too long, it is not good for the growth of flowers. When artificial light is added, pay attention to the dry and wet condition of the pot soil to prevent the pot soil from drying too fast and affecting the growth of flowers.

Tips:
Because the light enters the room has a certain directionality, and the growth of plants has the habit of phototaxis. Therefore, flowers grown indoors, after a period of growth, the plant shape will be skewed, that is, the branches and leaves will grow obliquely toward the light. In order to keep the flower plants upright and graceful, it is necessary to turn the pots once every 7 to 10 days for the flowers with strong phototaxis, and the pots should be turned 180° when turning.
